<p>Does anyone know what is going on with the current status of NJSTARS?</p>
<p>The only information I can find is that the gov's curent budget proposal includes "the continuation of 'NJ STARS I as a tuition scholarship program for community college freshmen and sophomores and restructure NJ STARS II to a state-funded $2,500.00 annual scholarship that community college graduates can earn into their junior and senior year at any NJ college or university.'"</p>
<p>I am not sure how to interpret it or maybe I don't want to interpret it correctly. I am getting ready to transfer to an NJ state school and was relying heavily on the NJSTARS II portion of this scholarship. </p>
<p>Does anyone have any information?</p>
