yea that’s exactly what my mom was told

@lameredemonfils,
I expect that the snail mail package that will come to you on Monday will have FA info.
Since you were outright admitted (not conditionally admitted like us, nikdangles, and jahphotogal), I expect/hope you will receive FA.

Any of you (accepted) applied to 10th or 11th Grade?

Anybody receive admit packages in the mail yet?

No, but I think they will be coming in the next couple of days.

Congratulations to everyone accepted! I am so happy that you might (hopefully) will join the NMH Family! I am a current student and would be more than happy to talk to anyone or answer any questions you might have! Hope to see you all in Gill on the fall!

@NewEnglandPrep1, what work job opportunities are available for 9th graders? Thanks :)

Smiley66 most freshmen either work in Alumni (dinning hall) in one of the three rooms (salad, kitchen or dish room) so that you understand the work that goes into feeding everyone. Or cleaning whether classrooms or dorms. Freshmen year work jobs aren’t any great ones but they are some of my favorites because I still have great relationships with my supervisors from freshmen year. I hope this helps!

Hello.

My son M was admitted as a 10 grader and we received the financial aid information yesterday via regular mail. My son is very excited and we plan to send him. Mexstudent 2913 are you planning to attend revisit day later this month?

@Alleybox yes, Im treveling to the US to attend Envision Day the 29th, Already confirmed my attendance :)

Very cool. Safe travels and hopefully you and my son M will meet up that day.

Thanks! Hope to meet both of you there too!!

Ill be revisiting the 29th too!

That is great Nikdangles! Congrats on getting accepted at NMH! Hopefully we can meet up as well. I do not k or how many 10th graders were admitted but we shall find out!

For this who attended NMH s invision Day, what was your experience? What did you think?

We enjoyed envision day and thought that NMH did a very nice job of showing what they have to offer and why it can be a special place for the right student. I thought it was well organized and provided insight about the school but not a lot of pressure. I did like the end of the day with the letter that details why your child had been admitted to NMH and what made your child special. It was a nice touch!

Agree at all with Alleybox !

It was really well organized, allowed us to participate in a class and gave us the opportunity to meet and interact with other accepted students, if you heard the food was good well… Its a lot much better than just good!

I thought there would be a short number of international students (Im one (Mexico)) but I met some from Colombia, Argentina, Germany, Phillipines just to name a few…

Attending next year! NMH '15

Hey, I made this thread awhile ago and took a break from CC once I got waitlisted everywhere I applied.

However, I just got off the waitlist for NMH! See you guys next year! I’m so excited, its an amazing place.
