NMH info requested

Trying to get my D interested in NMH as a late add. If there are any parents/kids who have NMH on their list and have gone through the interview process/visit, etc, i would be really interested in your thoughts on the school. D is most definitely liberal arts/humanities over any sort of STEM interest if that helps. Thanks so much!

There are plenty of threads about NMH if you search for them, but I will point you to our wonderful experience with [post=13631665]NMH[/post] during the 2011 admission cycle.

Also fans of NMH even though our DC ultimately chose Loomis. But there’s so much to like about that school. The kinds of things I’d dig further on are the Block System and whether or not that’s a good fit for your kid, how outdoorsy you all are and how comfortable your kid will be at a relatively rural school.

We found the admissions team there to be among the most approachable, so Iwouldn’t hesitate to ask any questions and build a relationship there if it feels organic.

thanks for your replies. CM, i did read your lovely piece awhile back. I was more or less looking for recent parents/kids who are currently going through the admissions process and who have interviewed/toured NMH to see what the most recent thoughts are about the school. Again thanks to both you and PD as you are both incredibly insightful and helpful to us first-timers!

I believe NMH just keeps getting better and better, but let’s hear from those currently going through the process.
