NMSF Homeschooler with accredited transcript question

When my son took the PSAT last fall he registered himself as a homeschooler...which he is.
Although he is homeschooled, he is also under an accredited umbrella school in order to get an accredited transcript.

I called NMSQT corp to find out if he should switch the school listed to the umbrella institution or leave it as a homeschooler. She said leave it as a homeschooler.

My concern is that for SAT registration and college applications he is supposed to list the accrediting institution for the question "What high school do you attend?". I am concerned that either the colleges he is applying to or the NMSQT personnel that select finalists/scholars will see the disconnect and it will be a problem. I'm not trying to deceive anyone either way - I want to list whatever would be most appropriate for this situation.

Has anyone else ( a homeschooler with accredited transcript form a 3rd party institution) been in this situation? What did you list for school and how did it turn out?

Thanks in advance!

Good news! I found the answer to my own question! I am posting it here in case anyone else has the same question. I cut/pasted this from the FAQ section of the school profile part of the online application…

My son/daughter takes classes through a virtual high school or homeschool umbrella association and they have his/her transcripts. Can they fill out the school portion? What if we don’t want to be classified as a homeschool?

NMSC treats all students enrolled in virtual high schools or homeschool umbrella associations as homeschoolers for various reasons. The homeschool umbrella association or online school may certainly take part in the application process, but we will not transfer the student to one of those school codes. Please fill out the application sections designated to the Homeschool Parent (including the grades) yourself. You may, however, ask the online or umbrella school to take the role of Endorser.
