SAT scores on HS Transcripts

D2 is a junior in HS. I know b/c of D1, that the HS puts the SAT scores on the transcript. Because of the new options for reporting SAT scores to colleges, I don't want all of D2's scores on the transcript. I also know from CC that it's not really legal.

Anybody hae suggetions on how to appraoch the guidance office on getting this practice ended ? I have a year before it matters, so I figure I'll start now. Can I get CollegeBoard to talk to the HS ?

I know with ACT, you do not have to fill in the HS info....do you have to fill out high school info on SAT registration?

I thought about that. But can you quallify for NM if your score is not affiliated with a HS ??

good question....I guess College Board would be the people to answer that one....Homeschoolers eligible for NM? that would answer that too.....

Yes, homeschoolers are eligible for NM. Their parents fill out the counselor's form. In the case of a high school student not wanting scores sent to the school, I imagine it would be possible to go to the counselor AFTER being notified of NMS status to get the required forms filled out.
