No 4th year of math. UC chances?

I'm in AP Calculus, but i'm thinking about dropping it because it's just too hard for me right now. I've taken Algebra 1-Pre-Calculus (4 years) but only 3 years of math in high school. UC's and colleges require 3 years but reccomend 4 years. Would only having 3 greatly reduce my odds of getting accepted? Is this a substantial part of the deciding process?

No, it is not. Depends more on your SATs and GPA, rather than a one year lack of a recommended course. It won't be a big factor.
