Please help me...

HI! This site is so interesting to me and I was wondering if I could have some advice from some of you who seem to know a lot about this kind of stuff.

Here goes....I go to a pretty new school (my class is the first to graduate) and it is only offering AP Calculus for seniors. I have taken honors math courses for the past three years and have completed Geometery with a B, Algebra II with a C, and Pre-Claculus with a B.

I wanted to take prep Calculus but since it's not offered I didn't want to take math at all. I'm looking into mostly UC schools right now and it only requries that i take 3 years but im wondering if it would look really bad if i just didnt take it...please help...

It wouldn't look really REALLY REALLY REALLY bad.

Woah, that was really bad sarcasm.

But when it comes to admissions, many other factors may play into role, residence, overall GPA, ECs etc...but assuming you have good everything all around, I would still advise you take the math class. Students these days don't care about the word "recommended" or "advised" or even "required." Most of us do more. WAY more.

Take it. It's not going to hurt you. Even if the minimum requirement is "three years," believe me, they want more than that.

Thanks you guys...guess that means im going to have to take art afterschool since i guess im going to have another full schedule...oy
