Ill be a senior next year and was planning on dropping science. I have 3 years l 1 bio 1 chem and 1 from freshman year that was a physics/chem combo. I plan on majoring in either international business or relations with a minor in spanish and instead of science I'm taking honors Econ and gov. science is my worst subject area but I'm not sure how bad it will look to drop it for these classes. I have an a in chem a b in bio and I had a b (shouldve been an a but my teacher messed it up and wouldn't change it) and my overall unweighted gpa is 3.7 I'm also taking ap calc bc ap spanish ap us and english. I'm not sure what exactly makes the most sense to do or whether I'll be okay with the way this is. Ive been in all honors and accelerated and ap classes, science being accelerated. with my major is a fourth year science necessary?

Nope, not necessary. As long as your schedule is still rigorous, you have the 3 main sciences, and you’re not majoring in anything science related, there is no need to take a science your senior year.

I’m doing the same, because I hate science (well I hate learning it in school), and I’m planning on majoring in social sciences, so I didn’t bother.
