"No accommodations" for the psat

Hello my name is jennifer and i am a 15 year old 10th grader , I'm a lot slower in working and grasping stuff,I have the worst time weighting, even when im typing I still get cramps in my wrist and my handwriting is illegible to say the least. I'm a resouse student with level 2 autism non convulsive seizures and an undiagnosed physical disability that might be explained by the epilepsy.

if you think you could help me figure out what this is be my guest ( here is some information from my first evaluation for early intervention.
I never crawled.
I would stiffen my arms a shake my legs while placed on my back.
Both of my feet appeared flat, my right foot turned in, and I had slight bowing in both of my legs.
I used a wide base of support.
I sometimes walked up on my toes . for gross motor skills I was 26 mounths old and I could preform most tacks at the 12-14 month level alouth they said I was at 17 mounth gross motor level.
I have low muscle tone and fair + muscle strength.
my total fine motor skills raw score was at falling at the 1%ile

i could not walk more then a couple steps on my own and could not walk steps or go on a slide/ playground equipment without assistance and i almost needed orthopedics however i had an seit an aide to walk with me until 3rd grade intense pt and ot untill 7th or 8th grade ( she only worked with younger kids for pt and 9th grade ot. (im also suppose to have consling but that's not important. )for all tests since they started i have been having 50% time and a separate room and the abilty to use a computer for short answers and essays. So far this has come with mixed complience during high school but i always at lest got the extra time and different room even on the reaghts reagents as for the typing its granted some to most to the time but its complicated and i might put that in a later post. How ever last year and this year they both siad their was no acccomodations for the redi step or psat. I just attempted to take the psat today and it was so bad i had to leave and make my test void. I am also expected to take the psat next year and i dont know what to do i need the accommodations so much i even tried applying for them myself but i found out a teacher needs to apply. what can i do?BTW in my iep im categorized as other health impairment also im really sorry about my lack of proper spelling, im getting cramps just writing this.

You have to apply to the College Board for accommodation on their tests. Talk to your high school guidance counselor about this. Typically College Board require copied of evaluations from doctors or psychologists verifying your disabilities. It is most helpful if you have older and fairly recent evaluations. If you have been getting accommodations in school, they want to know that, too. One of my kids needed accommodations, and the GC helped us through the process.

If you get approval from the College Board for extra time or other accommodations, they apply to the PSAT, SAT, SAT subject tests, and AP tests. You do have to specifically select a site that allows your accommodations when you register for most of those tests, though, and you need the approval from College Board before you can do that. You have time to get this done, since you are only in 10th grade.

Note that the ACT is run by a different company and you have to make a separate request for them if you also want accommodations for the ACT. They do not offer any accommodations for the PLAN (like the PSAT, but for ACT) as far as I know. From comments out here on CC, it sounds like ACT is less likely to give accommodations than College Board, but some people certainly do get them.

why dont they give it on PLAN? Isn’t that a violation of the ada? Im just curious.
