My D received her AP scores today (MN) but one score did not show up-AP Psych. Has anyone else encountered this? She said if a score does not show up by 8/7, she can contact.
Did she take the re-take? Or have any issues in submission?
@izrk02-She had no issues with submission, took it on the regular day, not a re-take and even printed off the page that says “Congratulations! Your AP Exam Is Complete”. Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this or had this issue in past years. She took 6 tests total (Environmental Science, Calc BC, Physics-Elec, Physics-Mech,Seminar and Psychology)…she received scores for all except Psychology.
I looked at her account and it also gives a “code 96” along with the information that her score is not available and if she does not receive by 8/7 to contact.
That’s odd. Wait until the 17th (last day for scores to be sent out), and if it’s not out by then, contact. Or just wait until Aug 7th.
@izrk02 Thanks! I googled “code 96” online and discovered that this happened in other years-hoping it resolves itself.
Still no AP Psych score—code 96–instructions on CB site say that if no score by today, 08/07…call, so I did and now instructed that I have to wait until Monday to call. I guess results could still come out today? Has anyone ever seen results post during the day? I thought that was something that happened middle of the night.
My AP Psychology score wasn’t released either with the rest of my AP tests a few years back, however, it was released after a few weeks and (if it qualifies you for a AP scholar designation, though I believe the College Board stopped the program this year,) I think I got an email about it.
Thank you @PikachuRocks15. My D currently has the AP Scholar with distinction and I think this may be the last year for National AP Scholar. I’m just nervous that it is somehow lost but hopeful with posts like yours that she will eventually get a score.
Don’t worry @1Lotus ! I believe if any section of the exam is lost (which it likely isn’t, given that the exam was online this year,) the College Board calculates your score based on the section of the exam that is present (so 100 % FRQ or 100 % MCQ.) Just keep checking the College Board portal every few days or so and contact them closer to the end of August/start of school if they haven’t reached out by then.
Hope this helps!
@PikachuRocks15 thank you
Wasn’t multiple-choice eliminated for all tests this year? So there’s only one “section” to the test?
What is a College Board telling you know that at least two of their deadlines have passed?
@RichInPitt Thank you for asking. I called on 08/07 and was told that I had to wait until Monday to call. I called Monday, 08/10 and was told that they would expediate it or something like that and I think the next day a score appeared. It was kind of a mystery and never an explanation of what happened or why it couldn’t have been figured out sooner. So, in case someone has a “code 96” in future years, my Ds was eventually posted.
