<p>Okay, we're in Texas. My son was a junior in HS last May, took the only 2 AP classes available for juniors at his high school, AP English and AP US History, his high school requires all students in AP classes to sit the exam and then the AP grade serves as the final exam grade,so took both exams in May. Notice came today from College Board: for both exams has *96, then says processing, if not received by Sept 1 contact College Board etc.. > I'm assuming this is because the book with his yellow bar-coded sticker got lost somewhere along the way, so his high school college counselor got his AP number for him and he hand wrote it on his tests. He says they were handed the booklets at school, filled them out and turned them back in, and his and one other turned up missing. I'm guessing the test without the sticker bar-codes were put aside into another pile for manual processing. My question: Is College Board pretty good at following these through to the end? We've never had a delayed SAT or AP score in the household before, course this is only my 2nd child to go through the process. Should we stay on top of this, call every other week to check etc .. or just file it aside and assume it will come without any follow-up. Thanks in advance</p>
<p>My son’s AP Psychology scores are delayed too. Here is the message he got:
*86 score delayed - to be reported as soon as possible</p>

<p>I logged in today to ask the same question! DS2 passed two exams this spring, but the third one, which is APUSH, says “Score Delayed, (Code 86) – Score will be sent as soon as possible.”</p>
<p>I tried to call but the AP programs’ two phone numbers have crashed! I reached a human being in their Reston office, but he said he couldn’t help me, and that I must keep trying the other two phone numbers. :-/</p>
<p>I have no idea what the numbers mean, but the College Board did say that as soon as any delayed scores were available, you would be emailed. My guess is that they’re fairly on top of it.</p>
