Would not taking an AP test for an AP class that you are in hurt your chances of getting into a good college?
Or for that matter, would taking it an dthen getting a 1 or 2 and having to cancel hurt your chances as well?

I don't think many (if any) colleges look at AP scores for admission.

I believe I read someplace that colleges are suspect of people who take AP classes without taking the tests, because it might be a cheap way to inflate a grade cum. I don't know if they would care about one test, but several tests would look funny to me. Are you prepared to answer the question, why would you take an AP class and not take the test?

selective colleges do i think

haha yes I am totally prepared to answer the question. For one thing, the test that I am thinking about skipping is computer science AB. My school is HORRIBLE for computer science. Our teacher started teaching the class after one summer course in JAVA! I rightfully feel very unprepared. Second, in order to take the test, our teacher is going to give us an automatic B and then give us an A only if we get a 4 or 5 on the test. Third, I have Spanish on the same day as computer science, so I would have to take computer science on the makeup day. Why should I take even more time out of my schedule to take a test that I feel totally unprepared for?
I don't know, this question has been bothering me all year. Thanks for the responses though. I appreciate them
