No app fee/Free to apply schools

Does anyone have a working list of schools that don’t charge an application fee? My son is applying to a few, and we starting talking about what others are out there. While you still have to pay to send test scores etc. it is nice not to have that added cost.

there are tons – all to get you to become interested. Rather than look for a list of “free apps”, you might be better served wading through the chaff by honing in on colleges that your son really might envision himself attending. Perhaps have him try the SuperMatch tool on the left? Create a spreadsheet. Then have a column that says “free app”.

To simply draw up a list of non-fee apps, you’ll get swamped with lots of schools that will be meaningless.

We’ve found that wil most private universities if we express interest they send us a fee waiver. I know my daughter has waivers right now from probably 7 or 8 schools. Go on their websites and fill out their contact form, I’ll bet email and hard copy fee waivers start arriving.

As above^. My daughter was sent at least two fee waivers via email from colleges she expressed interest in. Sign up sooner rather than later.
