No AP's But...

I'm hoping to go to a university such as Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Dartmouth or a UC.However, I have never taken any AP classes, nor will I have the opportunity to do so as my school doesn't offer them. But, I have been taking community college classes since 9th grade and will continue to do so all the way through. (I'm about to be a junior.) I am hoping and planning to graduate with an AA in Journalism. I do want to enter as a freshman though, not a transfer student.
But I have been wondering, will my lack of AP's be a problem when applying? Or will my community college classes make up for that?
Thank in advance!

(I know I haven't included my gpa, EC's, SAT's, etc...I know that definitly matters- I just wanted some info on this in particular.) :)

they don't hold things that are beyond your control against you HOWEVER I would suggest taking courses at a community college or another HS with AP since it shows initiative

um, in case I didn't specify this I am taking classes at community college and will graduate HS with my AA.

brb, looking into my crystal ball.

Having an AA might force you to apply as a transfer student.

It is very good that you are showing the initiative to take classes beyond what your high school offers. Would it be possible for you to self-study any APs?
