No college counselor at school- Who should fill out my common app?

I am an international student aspiring to study in the US. However, I'm facing quite a few hurdles filling out the common application.

The biggest one is- my school has no specific or assigned college counselor...so who should fill out the school forms in my college application? A teacher, headteacher, principal...?

You should contact Common Application and ask this question directly to them. They will answer email, but it can take several days.

I would say, your principle or another school administrator, but hopefully they know you well enough to write a good rec. I would definitely give them a copy of your resume with a lot of personal details (how you feel about your involvement in your extracurriculars, your hobbies, your passions, etc). Give them a GPA report and an SAT report if available, so that they can really write well about you.

However, first contact Common App. to be certain that a principle or head teacher can send the school report and rec on your behalf!

You should ask this in the International Student Forum. The people there can help you out. [International Students - College Confidential](International Students - College Confidential Forums) If you haven’t already done so, you also should read through the information at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.info/) You will find answers to many of your questions there. You also can get in touch with the counselors at the EducationUSA advising center closest to where you live. They are expert at helping students like you.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the info guys! I’ll def check out both your advice =D

When I’m giving details about my principal as the counselor, what should I put him as?
‘other recommender’ or ‘counselor’?
