Has anyone had heard from the school that they have received the applications and all ther required documents? I am really worried since I have not year 'ANY' from Cornell yet. Not even single one message from the school! I applied on-line through common app, and just wondered what happened to other applicants. Thank you very much and have a great weekend!!!

what interview? I don't think I am having one since I applied to CAS unless I have a regional representative (or alumni) around my place which I don't think.

You should have gotten an email from Cornell within a week of submitting your application. In the email, they give you your pin number so you can register on the Cornell site to check your application status. Also, unless you're an international applicant, you should be contacted for an interview, but it's purely informational and has little bearing on your acceptance. Even if you are an international or live in some remote location, they can also do the interview by phone.

I highly doubt they send the PIN within a week. For ED, which has far fewer apps, I had to call Cornell two weeks after I submitted my app in order to get the PIN.

I got my PIN three days after I submitted my app. This was RD, and I submitted on December 23.

Well, if you submit it early you'd probably get it coz they'd have fewer apps then. But if you submitted it just before the deadline, then it'd take some time. I submitted my ED app the day before the deadline, hennce the delay

*sigh, none of the ppl in my school has gotten anything from Cornell yet. Some guy in another school I know got his just a few days after he submitted his app online.

I live in Windsor Ontario, so that's a stone's throw from Detroit. I would assume that there is at least one Cornell Engineer working in GM/Ford/Chrysler across the river, so is it likely that I will get an interview?

Anyways, now I'm brooding over not seing any confirmation from Cornell... Maybe I should call them. Ideas?

Hey, if Cornell hasn't sent you your PIN via email, you can ask them to. Click this link:

Just put in the email address that you submitted to Cornell. Do as they bid you and finally, you get your account info in your mailbox after 5 mins:D
However, the PIN doesn't help much just now. Right now you can't check the status of your documents yet, although they claim it'll come out in "early February". Guess this is called "late January" or something:D
