They lost the first game of the season 13-17 against New Hampshire! Estoy sad.

Ehhhh, at least it was pretty close. A little more than a field goal and it would have been a win!

Haha..

New Hampshire is the #7 team in the country and we should have beat them. Our quaterback was a little jittery with 3 interceptions and two fumbles...our kicker also missed a field goal and an extra point (3+1 the four points we lost by). BUT..the good news...the Defense was freaking amazing...they had one of the best offenses in the country shut down the whole game. We lost the game on a last second touchdown drive...it sucked...but the team showed promise. So if our offense stops being so sloppy (which they should considering first games are always sloppy) we should be in for a good season.

haha goags!, i love your overflowing optimism for the school. It puts me in such a good mood for my college.

Didn't watch the game, but the Ags lost to Portland State.

Yeah... I have low hopes for the Stanford game now... stupid Aggiepack and their propaganda films...

^Hahaha. PropAGGIEnda!

The football team has to back up all their talk and the hopes all of us students have for them. You cant lose to friggin Portland State...Give me a break..

Or bribe us with some pretty cool free stuff...

It can be tough transitioning to Division 1. All our seniors are Division 2 players...but let's not make excuses when you can blame the FREAKING kicker. 14-12...that means we missed another extra point! (Our kicker is 0 for 3) It SHOULD have been tied 14-14 going into Overtime. Ok...the good news he's our back up kicker and will never kick again. And even more good news...we have a football team...haha..and that's better than not having a football team at all. AND EVEN more good news...THEY have dug a huge ass pit and the NEW football stadium seems to be well on it's way to being completed for next year.

Well theres always next year!

I say, new stadium, new division, you know what should come next? New Uniforms!! Really though, our uniforms are really, really plain. If Cal can get some redone unis, we should too!

Check for new uniforms next year. UCD signed a contract with a major uniform maker and all sports teams should get new uniforms. It's all part of stepping it up. As in...UC Davis is counting on freshman..the class of 2009...to be the class to carry the torch in making UC Davis have the most spirited and pumped up fans on par with Cal and UCLA.

If they would only remove the handcuffs from biotechnology I bet we could build a great line.
