Aggie Spirit!

UC Davis is one of my top choices b/c I heard that all of the students are really nice and friendly and there is a real Aggie spirit. Can you guys attest to that? If so, I would love to hear some more about it. Thanks! :)

Everyone is really nice and friendly and pretty easy going.. but I'm not sure how much "Aggie Spirit" there is, I don't really see Davis as having great school spirit.

I guess the spirit wasnt as tangible when upperclassmen began, then, because as a freshman this year I can say the spirit is incredible. Maybe the aggie pack just exploded this year because we went D1 and they really want to get the ball rolling. I cant explain it, theres just too much to it, but from the playing of the fight song in the dark at summer advising, to the loudmouths coordinating the chants at the games(which are ferociously spirited, btw), to just seeing people wear davis clothing everywhere, I don't know. There definitely is a lot of aggie spirit in the air, I can attest to that, and it really makes you feel proud to be an aggie.

The last thing youll be underwhelmed with here is the spirit, dont worry..

Yeah, I can attest to this. Everyone is nice and chill. I mean when it comes to academia, everyone is willing to help everyone out. In terms of school spirit, I'd say that the Aggie spirit is pretty good. Sports-wise, it all depends on how much PropAGGIEnda the Aggie puts out. For the Stanford game, the aggie spirit was certainly flowing.

Stay away from Carlos Overstreet. That guy's a jerk ;)

Went to the b-ball game yesterday against Sac State. We lost, but the Aggie Pack was in full effect. We were down 14 points, then rallied to get up by 5, only to lose it down the stretch. Exciting game, good turn out, still proud to be an Aggie.

I feel so bad. I've never gone to a single athletic game.
