No Email

I definetly have a working email address, and one that I supplied. However, I never got my decision by email. A friend at school had this problem too. Anyone else? And any suggestions or thoughts?

My email address is working and i supplied it too, but I didn't get an email either. Might this be a regional problem?? Do you live outside the U.S.?

i didn't get one either.
i'm going to call them today.

I didn't get one either. I'll probably be too lazy to call. Tell me how it goes.

My niece didn't get one -- and also had given a working email address. So frustrating to have been kept hanging all evening. Plus couldn't get on CC to even see if others were having trouble too!! The worst!!!

I didnt get one either!!! Ahhhh, now we have to wait for the envelopes to come 800000000000 days later :( good luck to u all! I hope we all get the big ones

i didn't get an e-mail but did you apply for fin. aid? If you did, you could check the ISIS system to see if you can log in and have a offer for fin. aid. That should tell you the answer if you got accepted or rejected.

Did any of you other guys without emails apply for the JHU/Peabody double degree? Both a friend and myself who did haven't heard anything...I'm going to just wait it out I guess.
Only positive thing is that Daniel's blog showed that they shipped priority mail instead of regular, which might cut off a day of waiting for us.

I'm pretty sure that priority mail is only for acceptances...the rest will go regular first class...

I didn't get one.

RE: Peabody Dual-Degree

Those specific admissions decisions are made, obviously, by conferral between the two schools. Peabody is the institution that actually sends out these notifications, I believe, so they will not be included in the email; rather, you will have to wait for (I believe postal) notification from them directly. Good luck!

Okay, after talking to the admissions office today, confirmed that application was complete and that they had the correct email address all along. But they won't give the decision over the phone even though the email was supposed have been received last night.

I really think at the least they should send the email again to the address they've had on file. JHU_Michelle, any suggestions???

I didn't get an email until ~1PM today. So keep checking, guys.

Singme (and others): Check your spam filter! Some very important emails from work for my wife got labelled as "spam" by my wife's mail filter. Mass mailings are often wrongly thought to be spam!

yup, checked the spam filters repeatedly last night and today. no luck...

so for the people who didn't get an email...
did you guys get the mail yet?

I haven't gotten one either, but I did login to my ISIS and it had some weird $$ numbers in it. Lol, so I don't even know.

Dratinsunny, nothing in the mail yesterday. Maybe today.

Peachiexice -- the ISIS $$ sounds promising...

For those who did not get an email I extend my apologies. On Wednesday night we sent out nearly 13,800 emails to all our Regular Decision applicants. Throughout Thursday we went through all the bouncebacks we received (about 220) and tried to correct and re-send as many emails as we could. We also received phone calls from many people and for as many emails we could fix and resend we did.

Please note we tried as hard as we could to get emails to everyone. This is not a perfect system. We have never re-sent and corrected emails in the past, and I spearheaded that effort all day on Thursday. And yes it took all day.

I know that there are still a number of applicants who did not get an email -- because of a spam filter or a dead email or something else. All I can say is that your decision letter should arrive in the next few days.

And if you still have not received notification by Monday, you may call the Admissions Office to receive your decision. More info about that process can be found here: http://apply.jhu.edu/faqs/decisions.html
