No GPA?

I attend a competitive private school and my GPA is not calculated in any form on my transcript. Will MIT calculate my GPA in the admissions process?

I have tried to do this myself and it comes out to about 3.6 (unweighted.. I don't know much about GPAs though). Isn't this fairly low for MIT's standards? Bearing in mind that my school is extremely challenging, which will be portrayed through the school profile, will this hurt me?

I am a female applying Early Action, and everything else on my application is pretty much up to MIT's standards in my opinion; creative essays, high SATs, etc.

Thoughts?
Thanks!

I can't say for certain whether or not MIT will try and calculate your GPA for you. But I don't think you have to worry about it too much; MIT will take your own school's difficulty into account. And anyway, it's too late to change your past grades. :)

Best of luck!
