I instead have taken Chem 2 AP and Bio 2 AP. I never took physics in high school as a result of schedule problems and other problems. Will this be a problem with getting accepted to many colleges? I'm trying to get into biochemistry or biomedical engineering.
any help would be much appreciated

take it online FOO

wellll, online is not really an option
my school does not permit people to take many outside courses

I was in an extremely similar position (I was forced into IB Bio HL which is a two year class right after I took biology sophomore year) Last year (junior year) I was not able to take chemistry as it was a conflict, and this year I opted into taking physics along with biology because it fit; both my guidance counselor and academic dean said they would note many of the conflicts involved with my schedule and my counselor said she’d call colleges for me no problem…See if it could be noted that you couldn’t take it, not that you didn’t want to. &&It seems double sciencing in those two is much more pertinent to the college career path you want to take. Essentially, I wouldn’t worry about it too much as long as your courseload is very rigorous.

Zaza94:

yeah, i had one of the most rigorous courseloads in the school, luckily
and yes i do agree i wouldn’t think that physics is too important to what i want to do

thanks for all the helpppp zaza, the counselor thing sounds like an excellent idea

I have the same problem…though its because our physics teacher retired so I’m taking AP chem instead.
But I think as long as the colleges/programs you’re applying to doesn’t require physics you’ll be fine
