I have 4 in mind, NYU, Tufts, University of Florida, and University of Miami. But I still want at least 8 schools in total I'm applying to.

I'll make this short. Basically I have a 1980 SAT (will retake and also take the ACT), 720 on SAT II Biology, 3.76 UW GPA at a competitive public high school and a 5.36 W.
My APs: AP Human (4), AP Biology (3), AP Calculus AB (5), APUSH (5), and AP Lang (5).
I am currently taking AP Psych, AP Chem, AP Government, AP Statistics, and AP Economics.

My ECs are not good. I volunteer at a hospital and have done a few other service activities and probably have about 250 hours. I am apart of 4 clubs but only as a member. I hardly have any awards, just AP Scholar with Distinction and a Scholastic Writing Award Red Ribbon.

University of Florida is a very long shot with less than 4.0 UW GPA. See link below, about 2000 students are admitted below 4.0, but those are place holders for D1 athletes, alumni legacy, highly accomplished profiled students, and special consideration students.

It is a universal conclusion among Florida residents that UF requires a 4.0 UW GPA, unless you have a very competitive case to present the Dean of Admissions.

My brother got in UF with a 3.5. I think that might be weighted GPAs since unweighted don’t go over 4.0.

I really don’t think that is for weighted GPAs as rarely anybody with hard classes gets 4.0 UW in my school yet many of the students get into UF.

Sorry I forgot to mention that. I don’t have many preferences, I just like larger schools with good pre-med programs. I would like to stay on the east coast as well.

Well most schools have the requisite pre-med curriculum if you are looking to go to medical school. The four schools you named are actually quite different from one another. Does one stand out among the others for you?

Other schools you might consider include Georgetown and Johns Hopkins, which might be reaches but worth a shot. You might also think about Boston College, Rutgers, Fordham, Lehigh, Maryland, Villanova, Delaware, and Ithaca.

That list plus the ones you mentioned provides you 14 schools that are a pretty good mix of reaches, matches, and safety schools. Good luck.

Should we assume you’re from FL?
If not, what state are you from?
What can your parents afford? Will you need 100% need paid for (ie only pay your EFC)? Will you need merit aid if your EFC’s too high? Have you run some NPCs and talked about it with your parents?
Once we have this info, we’ll be able to supply you with a list of a dozen schools
Also the UF stats are out of 5, not 4. As OP said, it’s not possible to get more than 4 unweighted out of 4…;)

@FLVADAD I would like a school that has a good medical school/science department. And my schools are pretty different but I honestly don’t know exactly what I’m looking for in a school and I don’t really have any strong preferences, I liked each of them for different reasons. Thanks for the ideas :)

@MYOS1634 Yes I am from FL
Financial aid would be ideal but my parents can afford most colleges and money is not a major issue.
I would appreciate any school you could recommend to me that I have a fair shot at. I also need more matches but I need help with finding what would be matches for me.

Since you are in FL you might think about a few others a little closer to home. I think these have good science departments but you’ll have to research the specifics of your intended concentration.

Emory (Reach)
Furman (Match)
Clemson (Safety)
Wake Forest (Match)
