I am wondering about the financial aid policies, if there are no longer loans in the financial aid package, then wouldn't that mean that the EFC is going to be higher or is Penn going to use more of its own money to compensate, any body with insight it would be appreciated.

it should mean that penn is going to use more of its own money to help students cover the costs of education. trust me, the no-loans policy is a GREAT thing.

If so then sweet :)!

EFC would remain the same, but your expected aid (cost-EFC) would change from loans to grants. In reality, though, you are getting more money to go to college, since you no longer will have to pay the financial aid award back.
