Would it be worth it to go to Creighton university with their honors program and half tuition scholarship or go to Notre Dame and pay effectively sticker price (My efc sucks, won't get any need). I'm not rich either, probably upper middle maybe middle class so cost is still a big factor. I'm just thinking about how expensive med school is and how my life may be easier with about 100 grand less debt if I went to Creighton. I would be completely happy at either school but I would kind of rather go to Notre Dame.
Also, does honors make any difference in med school decisions?
Any advice would be really appreciated!

honors = med schools are not likely to take notice

Creighton is not really an unknown school, and more importantly for you is one that has a very large presence of premeds and a medical school, which (one would hope) would lead to an experienced premed advising staff (this is one of the most important things as far as where you go to undergrad is concerned). The only real advantage of going to Notre Dame is that should you choose to no longer be premed (which statistically is very likely), you may have more options. Ultimately, I would say go to where you are happiest, you only get to do undergrad once and your undergrad debt will most likely seem like a drop in the bucket compared to what you take on in med school.
