no more ratemyprofessors?

I have been trying to access the website ratemyprofessors.com and it seems like it is no longer available. Does anyone know anything about it or how to find out?

RateMyProfessors.com

works for me

My friend, who actually IS a professor listed on ratemyprofessors, has had trouble accessing it at times. You can always try a different browser (like firefox).

My D uses this website when picking classes. She has actually chosen classes with profs who are "hard," but she looks for info that indicates she might/might not like a particular prof's style. My friend the prof looks for evidence that her students have learned in her class ... she ignores the "she's so hard" stuff and looks for the "I was so prepared for the next, more difficult class" stuff ... she feels like she has done her job when she finds that students understand why she holds them to high standards!

We have no problem accessing it.

I'm on it too. Apparently I'm very helpful, very clear, but not very easy. Perfect!

I'm having no trouble with it. Probably just a temporary thing or possibly your browser.

But garland - what about the chili peppers? :-D

OK...thanks...glad to hear it's still up and running. I'll try and access it differently and see if that makes a difference.

Ah, no chilipeppers. I will have to work on my image (tough at my age, though.....)

LOL - I'm almost 1/15th hot (4 peppers per 61 ratings) so, as an engineer, I feel pretty good about that...

I can't open it either. Nor can I open the old CC classic forum. Can anyone open it?

works for me...that's odd

Duke, you should feel honored. Don't you have a higher percentage of males--maybe with more females, your hot peppers would sky rocket.;)

ctrkg-
which works for you-- the ratemyprofessors or the cc classic link?

The link above works for me.

I checked out some of S's profs. Several student descriptions described a woman as 'nerdy hot' which made me laugh. I'll have to see if there is a photo of her somewhere online.

The link works when accessed through Internet explorer, but not through AOL

That was my problem....I was trying to access it through AOL. When I tried Internet Explorer a few days ago it didn't work, which led me to believe there was a problem with the site. However, I tried again yesterday and it worked with Internet Explorer. Yay!
