<p>I’m currently getting around 20k as a National Merit Scholar at BU. That is the only item in my financial aid list, no need based aid at all, even though I clearly need it with an efc of 0. Does BU not award need aid to students with merit aid?</p>

<p>You should contact financial aid because your awards may not be posted yet, etc. As an NMS, they will rank you highly in their pool and are more, not less likely to offer financial aid in addition to merit awards.</p>
