Apps are going in next week...chances please?

I was deferred from Duke ED. This is my final list of RD schools. My SAT scores have improved from December, so I would really appreciate if anyone could predict my chances at these schools...

I am applying to:

Duke (still praying)
Penn
Wash U
Vanderbilt
Brown
Cornell
Georgetown (2nd choice)
University of Michigan (already applied, should be hearing soon)
Emory
Northwestern
Dartmouth
Harvard
Yale
Colgate

My stats are as follows:

White female from affluent NY suburb (no points there)
VERY competitive public school (Old SAT average = 1300)

GPA: 3.91 uw through junior year (school doesnt weight)

SAT IIs: 770 US History; 750 Math IC; 630 Molecular Bio (freshmen yr)...Im considering taking the IIC or spanish in january...any suggestions?

Recommendations: All excellent, best part of my app I think

ECs: Lots of work with autism/special needs people; tennis team captain; president of 1 school club and treasurer of another...lots of dedication

Junior Year Classes:
Advanced Physics - A-
Honors Spanish IV - A
Advanced Latin II - A-
Honors Precalculus - A
English III - A
AP US History - A (5 on AP test...only AP available to juniors)

Senior Year Classes:
AP Calc AB (A- for semester probably)
AP English Lit (A- for semester probably)
AP Spanish Lang (A for semester probably)
AP Macroeconomics (B or B+ for semester)
AP Chemistry (killing me, probably getting my first B for the semester)

I'm very nervous about my regular decision applications. I still want to go to Duke, but I would really like some thoughts/advice on others. Thank you in advance for any responses.

Most of those schools are impossible to pretend, because they're hard for anyone to get into. But, I'd say you're in at Mich, Colgate, Northwestern, and Emory. Really good shot at Georgetown, too. If you showed interest, you're in at Wash U.

Take a really deep breathe, relax. You are a very strong student, and you have a reasonable number of match schools on your list. You have two tasks to complete in the next month or so. The first is to get all of your apps into good shape and submitted properly. Make absolutely sure that you take the schools where you have a good shot (emory, vandy, colgate, northwestern) very seriously, and are enthusiatic and knowledgable on the applications.

You next task is to concentrate on your midyear grades. G'tn is rather found of stellar grades, I believe. IMO, this is more important than scraping up a few more SAT II points. If your SAT II's won't interfere with your grades, certainly go for it.

I know that a deferral is hard to face, but, as someone said on the parents forum, 'one schools deferree is another's prize recruit'. Best wishes and keep the faith.

ill guess them- even though I am in the same situation as you (deferred from Duke)

Duke- accepted (i was surprised you didnt get in ED, and if you dont get in, I cant)
Penn- rejected
Wash U- in
Vanderbilt- in
Brown- in
Cornell- in
Georgetown (2nd choice)- probably in
Emory- in
Northwestern- good shot, in probably
Dartmouth- rejected
Harvard- rejected
Yale- rejected
Colgate- in

Thanks, I really hope so because Duke is definitely still my first choice and I was pretty devastated from the deferral. The Michigan acceptance today was relieving because I know that I am going somewhere, but this is going to be a long christmas break as I need to fill out almost all of my RD apps (should have planned for the deferral). Anymore chances are welcome and thanks to those who have responded so far...
