Hello, I truly appreciate for anyone hearing me out and willing to give me some advice/opinions on the matter.

I attended Sacramento State University for 3 semesters, I will be attending a CC this Spring 2013. I am majoring in health care administration (generalist or specialist), but Sac State's administration program is not accredited. The only CSUS in CA that are accredited are CSU Northridge, Long Beach, and East Bay. I currently have a 3.45 GPA and plan to get straight A's here on out. The problem is I have already completed 33 semester units, so I must take into consideration the unit cap I am able to take to transfer to a different schools. Also, each school have different major requirements to be admitted into the school. I have mainly complete only GE classes and still not done yet let alone get to my major courses.

As of right now I'm not sure what should I do. Should I just stay at Sac State to finish up my undergraduate degree even though the major is not accredited? Or should I spend another 1-2 years at a CC to transfer to an accredited school for that major? I have talked to the counselors, but haven't been much help. Due to budget cuts the CSU system are not accepting Spring transfers, so in the sense I do not get all of my classes I won't be able to transfer until Fall 2015! A major downfall, but if I do get all of my classes I will be able to transfer in Fall 2014. I started school in Fall 2011 and as a result of me being indecisive about my major it led to this outcome.

Also, what would be the advantages and disadvantages to getting a degree for an accredited/non-accredited major?

Thank you before hand for any advice/opinions!
