Hi all. This has been a really difficult Google, so I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm currently a sophomore at Michigan State with an Accounting major that is largely pending change. I've always had the distant desire to be an architect, but seeing what other majors are out there has only made me want to try it more, and MSU doesn't offer a Bachelor's in it. They do offer Urban Planning, but I'm much more into the design aspects of architecture. I want to work with computer software and by hand designing whatever the hell a firm needs me to. My dream architecture school is Taubman, if that makes a difference. Question: what are some different majors I can get involved in that are adequate feeders into an architecture program, given that I develop a good portfolio? Or is it almost irrelevant and based strongly on grades/portfolio alone?
