Non-catholic at Fordham?

Im a HS junior and looking into schools in or near NYC- I came across Fordham, but im not catholic, im hindu. Would it be weird for me to go there? Would I feel out of place? Im not looking for a bunch of other people of my religion, i just wanna know whether or not a lot of people who arent catholic go there. Is it like georgetown in that sense?

Also, besides Fordham, NYU, and Columbia- do any of you know any good schools and are well ranked and acclaimed that are in or near the city, in a suburb or borough besides manhattan (like... with in 15 or 20 minutes of manhattan) and not in nj.

thanks!

I don’t think you would feel out of place, Fordham probably a decent non-catholic population.

My D attends Fordham and isn’t Catholic and feels very comfortable there.

BTW, Fordham is discussed favorably in an essay posted in a different thread. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/1532205-falling-love-my-safety-school.html

thank you!
