I've been meaning to ask this question and keep forgetting. Really, I have wanted to get involved with SOME kinda sports stuff but never had the resources or the time to do so. My question is, if there's anything at all in the UCs set for people that have no background in sports.

Anyone? That'd be pretty cool to know :D But I suppose this is what clubs are for.

I know. I just like to give badminton people a hard time. They seem so militant about defending it so it is fun to push their buttons a little bit. Plus I did Muay Thai and the dead nerves in my elbows and shins sometimes makes me feel elitist. :-)

Play coed, a smidge less competitive than the all boys team.
ww-You gotta have some skills and level of fitness for soccer or no one will want you on their team, even dorm teams.

ww-you can probably find a team that will take you but you gotta know that soccer is a game that most kids have been playing since kindergarten/elementary school.
Wait until you invest in cleats and shin guards.

Batilo that’s why I posted the thread in the first place. The only exposure I’ve had to sports was that required by my schools (and I did HS at home, so no sports there). The closest I came was being asked to consider the football team for the year I was at a regular HS, ha. the teacher was a total jerk though XD [And I’m pretty sure any big dude would get recruited for football]

Looking at the list of Fall Intramural sports, dodge ball needs the least amount of skills and experience.
It’s all about meeting people and having fun.
Half the battle is getting people to show up…
…and getting a team t shirt.
