Non-trad programs and grad school admissions

The deadline for decisions is nearing and I am not sure about with route to take.

I have the option of transferring into UVA's CAS or into UPenn's LPS.

LPS is UPenn's option for non-trad students and aside from a couple required LPS courses, I would be taking the same classes along with CAS students and would graduate with the same degree as them (no difference in diploma, but my transcript would have 'College of Liberal and Professional Studies' in its title head and above every semester).

I have been trying to find out with little luck about how grad school admissions look at graduates from non-traditional programs. Assuming I do well and take advantage of all the undergrad opportunities at LPS, would I be valued as much, less, or more than someone that did the same at UVA?

From what you know, are graduates from non-trad programs thought of as equally competitive as graduates from traditional ones?

Not less, not more, just the same. You’ll be taking the same classes and presumably doing the same kinds of things to prepare yourself (research experience, internships, etc.)
