After doing a little research (checking out these forums, reading vault guides, etc) I think that I want to pursue a career in investment banking after college, but I dont think I want to be an econ or finance major. Im going to Princeton, so I know that there will be recruiting options, but if I major in something like Philosophy or History will I be at a huge disadvantage? I know that I want a career in business, but I also want to get a good liberal arts education. Any feedback would be great thanks.

philoshophy and history are GREAT options. I've talked to real Goldman Sachs recruiteris about it.

I know it's hard to trust people on line. but what I said is way more useful than some random stereotype or heresay.

If you don't belive it, you can PM me for more info.

There are many Ibankers with History/Philosophy majors (specifcally from Princeton, actually). Mainly in IBD (Investment Banking Division) though.
