Hi all, I am curious as to what you think my prospects are of either being accepted to Law School or Grad School in one of the top picks :)

I am a US/Australian citizen in my early thirties and am about to complete my bachelor in Australia (a three year degree) with a projected GPA of 3.66-75. I will have finished this degree in 1.5 years after taking a double course load. I am a full time carer for my son who has extensive medical issues so my work experience and extra curricular activities are pretty non existent. I have the option of doing an Honours year for my degree (which would take it up to the US required 4 year degree and I might win an academic merit award for) or doing a Double Masters. The truth of the matter is that while I enjoy my current area of study it is not my passion. I also have the option of doing a Bachelor of Psychological Science or a Bachelor of Science (Medical Bioscience) then applying for Grad school in the US.

I should also mention that I would have been an ideal candidate in my younger years- excellent scores, valedictorian, Australian Institute of Sport gymnast, competitive ballroom/latin/EOT dancer, played violin, flute, piano. Basically, life happened and threw my path off, now I'm trying to find my way back.

My question is, that with my age and life circumstances would I even have a shot or be considered too old (eek!) for schools to 'invest' in? Would multiple Bachelors be looked upon favorably or not? Would added education perhaps compensate for being older than the typical applicant? I appreciate your replies and candor.
