I am a non-traditional student looking to transfer. I am currently a sophomore and I have been out of high school for 8 years.

what significance will my standardized test scores have on transfer admission? I want to apply to several Ivies but I never took the SAT (they are not required to attend most universities in OH.)

do adcoms place much weight on something that would have transpired 8 years ago? fill me in.

why don't you just call the schools you are interested in? Most admission officers are more than happy to offer candid advice to inquiring students.

Here it is. I am the same way. I graduated HS in 98 and I am a sophoomore now in college. I do want to apply to top 15 schools and amongs them Cornel doesnt care about tests so you don't need them. Also NYU if you find Cornell intimidating. I have been looking for more but alas it is hard to find. Oh wait - ALSO GEORGETOWN. And I believe Univ. of Wisconsin - Madison (my school). You do not need to send the scores even. Enjoy! Hope it helps and if you find any other ones let me know. martinibluex@yahoo.com
P.S. also you should use your age to your advantage. med schools love older students so other schools won't hate them either. We are underrepresented and if you present yourself the right way you might get something nice of it.

Well I know it came that way but I didn't really intend it. Sincerely, good luck, and if you do have a secret - share.
My SAT is old and is 1410. What is your situation? I am taking the ACT and SATIIs reluctyantly in Feb and Jan.
