<p>Hi guys! I’m joining the pool of Finalists (congrats to everyone!) and read on the website that this year they are offering EIGHTY scholarships instead of their usual forty. Does this mean that the finalists have a 80/112 chance of winning? The 112 is coming from some research I did that says there are eight regions, so 8x14 = 112.</p>
<p>Also, did anyone get the email after the phone call yet? I’m sure they’ll send it but they haven’t for me at least.</p>

<p>oh lol no, it was pretty crazy actually. i was sitting in ap chem when a horde of people suddenly walked in the room, my parents, counselor, principal, and the nordstrom people, with huge check and they presented it to me in front of hte class. it was pretty epic :)</p>

<p>Just recently found this thread, but I am a finalist as well. Not sure how many are in my region but I kind of assume it’s just the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT). I know they told us we’d hear back by Halloween, but should I be worried if I haven’t heard yet? Considering people (or possibly just one person) found out already? Fingers crossed.</p>
