<p>.got a call from nordstrom on ans machine but no specifics and told to call a number, which i called and said the person was out dont know what that means. tried calling about 2hrs after getting message but no avail.</p>

<p>Got a call from Nordstroms this morning saying DD (from Hawaii) was a finalist (but not necessarily a winner yet). Took a message because DD is in Philly till tomorrow night. Lady from Nordstroms was from 650 area code (norcal?). She said there were 865 applicants, 40 semifinalists, now there are 14 finalists and there will be 9 winners. No idea if this is just for her region or if this is national. I’m assuming region. Hope this info helps…</p>

<p>No other info than the applicant numbers. She did say that in prior years they only did phone interviews but this year they’ll try to skype. Dd’s interview is in late august. Lady was really nice. Not much else to share…</p>

<p>Do they notify all finalists from one state on the same day?? I emailed the scholarship program manager about it and I’m still waiting to hear back from her. I’m so nervous that I haven’t been selected :(</p>

Sorry for the late reply! I was notified of being a finalist through a phone call on July 26th. I also know of another person from California (I’m from Washington State) who was also notified recently. I actually just got an e-mail today confirming my finalist status. In my division, I along with 13 other students chosen will need to attend a interview process with the Nordstrom board. The lady told me it’s just going to be a casual interview that is meant to “get to know you as a person” Then in mid- October we find out if we win! Hope that answers some questions.</p>

<p>They have not notified Midwest nor northeast applicants yet. I’m from Michigan and haven’t heard anything.</p>
