Nordstrom Scholarship

Hi all,
Thanks in advance for reading my post!! So, I'm currently a sophomore in high school who is looking at scholarships for college, and I know that the Nordstrom scholarship is only for high school juniors and it's $10,000 so that has caught my attention. The thing is that I don't feel like I am qualified applicant for any scholarship and I feel like there's always someone better other than me that will get the scholarship. I currently participate on a robotics team after school and I do a lot of community service at my church. I am also part of the community service club at school. I dedicate around 15-20 hours each week to robotics during the winter. Other than that, my extracurricular are pretty weak. Does anyone know what the Nordstrom scholarship committee is looking for when selecting applicants? Do I even have a chance of getting this scholarship or any other scholarship? This scholarship would really help me out a lot because I don't want to place a financial burden on my parents, and I know they won't let me take loans if they can afford the price. It's just I really do not want to make them pay for my college, as I should be responsible for that. Thanks again for reading this.
