Northeastern and IDOC? Please Help

I'm really confused right now. After I finished and sent the CSS Profile in January, I got an email in February that said I needed to send my parent's financial docs, (w-2, 1040, etc) to certain schools (Stanford, Brown, and Columbia)that participate in the IDOC program. All of these schools had an asterisk placed after its' name.

Well, Northeastern had an asterisk that denoted it participated in IDOC, but it was not in the list of schools that CollegeBoard said needed the IDOC. Yet, when I checked the NU website, it said that the school needs the IDOC to process its financial aid awards.

So, do I send my parent's tax records for NU to the College board IDOC program, or do I not send them because CollegeBoard did not list NU with my other schools that required the IDOC?

Thank you, all help is appreciated.

Well if Northeastern says they need them… then they need them. No discussion about whether or not to send them, regardless of what CollegeBoard says. It’s not a perfect website and makes mistakes a lot. Send them.

If you want, check with the financial aid office just to confirm WHERE to send them. It might be through another website, or it might be directly to Northeastern. Just call and ask.
