I am a big believer that the environment you are in can make or break your college experience and am trying to decide where I should say “yes” to. I got into Northeastern and love what the school has to offer. I have not gone for a visit yet. Does the campus have a real college feel? What are the pros and cons with it? I love the outdoors but also like the idea of living in a city. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
Is there any way you can visit? If it is such a big factor, visiting would help…
Pros:
-Easy access to Boston
-Central Campus while still being in a city
-Decent amount of green space given its location
Cons (depending on prefrence):
-Not for those who need tons of green space / don’t like urban
-Ruggles is slightly shady (Orange Line T stop)

Krentzman Quad and Centennial Common have a good deal of green space, the rest is urban for sure.
Try the online campus tour and look at it in connection with that map.
Thank you! I know that being in a city means that it can’t have TONS of green space, but how much does it have in relation to others?
Compared to BU or NYU, a lot of green space.
