Hi I’m a rising senior and was wondering if anyone would like to chance me for Northeastern. Here are some of my stats:

Rank: 16/205
SAT: 2170 (superscore)
GPA: 4.3 (weighted)
Senior schedule: Graphic arts honors, Spanish IV honors, Calculus honors, AP Economics, AP Euro, AP Lit (taken all honors and 1 other AP throughout HS)
-Hispanic female
-Key Club, Council on Diversity, Culinary Club, Spanish Club, Yearbook, NHS, Spanish National Honor Society, National Hispanic Recognition Program(not confirmed but good chance), frequent blood donor at school drives, tutor, work as restaurant hostess
-first generation college student

You look like you’re within the normal admitted student range–I’d say that it’s a match/high match! Definitely apply if you’re interested.

Also, side note: donating blood is great, but I’m not sure that’s something that needs to be included on a college app

Everything that @julianstanley said is true. You’re a high match.

Plus, your status as a Hispanic woman will give you a boost. I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. Apply EA to boost your chances a tiny bit more, that’s what I’m doing. Good luck!

I’m going to say you’ll get in and if you get NHRP you have the potential to receive a big merit scholarship. A friend of my Daughter who got NHRP said they gave her the 30K NMS award even though she was not even a NMS qualifier.

1st gen definitely helps also. Other than these things, you are probably around the 50% mark for admitted students, which means your essay and demonstrating interest will be important.
