Any students that are currently waitlisted receive this mail?
"I am writing to update you on the waitlist process at Northeastern.
At this time, we have not made any decisions on whether we are able to offer admission to those on the waitlist, but are monitoring things closely. To ensure that we have the most accurate and current information, please click below to confirm or release your place on the waitlist no later than 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 16…"
Trying not to read into it too much but is this a good sign?
I think all people on the waitlist likely got it, basically just making sure people are actually still interested. I wouldn’t read into it or get hopes up.
I just received an email saying that I got off the waitlist with a Dean’s Scholarship??? I wasn’t even considering Northeastern and I have no idea why they gave me this scholarship but uhhhhhhh

Great news! Congratulations! Northeastern is an amazing school in the best college city there is. My son is a business major and the Co-op program has been amazing. Highly motivated group of kids is a big plus as well.
Great news that some are getting offers off the waitlist! Sadly my son didn’t see the email until today. He still clicked yes he is still interested. Not sure how firm the 4/16 date was.
@mtemmd If Northeastern is your son’s first choice I would not hesitate to also have him email his AO telling them if selected from the waitlist he will attend.
so i created mynortheastern portal and i clicked to “services & links” and then i clicked “housing online” and i submitted my application but i could only find in the preferences LLC’s like “college of engineering” and “international business” and not the residences that are on the website of NEU, https://www.northeastern.edu/housing/ THIS FOR EXAMPLE
Yes, you can only choose your LLC. You cannot choose the actual building. That will be assigned later. I joined the NU Parents Facebook group and it has a lot of helpful info. Maybe there is a students group you can find on FB or Instagram so students can explain the housing to you.
There’s not much to be explained - you explained it. The student chooses the LLC by the end of May or so, and the college will decide later in June which LLCs live where. They switch it around every year.
