Northeastern vs Georgetown-
All things being equal (which they apparently are not, the NEU Scholars Program aside), this would be an easy call.
If you are looking for the most intellectually stimulating undergrad experience, with the added bonus (and it can prove to be a big bonus in life) of much more cache on your resume, it is just not close - Georgetown. Seriously, these schools are not in the same stratosphere. It’s not like saying: Dartmouth or Brown? Or even Duke or WashU or Northwestern? Those are all debatable. This one’s not. Georgetown is in an entirely different league than Northeastern.
That being said, I think that the amount of debt one has after finishing college is a very important consideration - more so now than ever.
Finishing college with no debt is very appealing. Only you can judge.

Northeastern vs Georgetown - Hummmmmm Walnuts vs Apples… They are both good for you but no comparison at all. Ever wonder why NE would give full ride? They do want the very best student and any school would. That is how schools, over the years, get better. Just like recruiting for a Basketball or Football teams.

My D gave up Boston College Honors program hoping she would get off Georgetown’s wait list. I feel that a $150K additional investment in Georgetown is way better than one in BC!

I have read a number of medman’s posts and I must hand it to him on his knowledge and experience.

Northeastern is a pretty solid school; GU is not worth the premium in this case. You can happily apply to internships over the summer in DC knowing that you’re not saddled with debt.

^lol. “Goldenboy” at it again…So preoccupied with Georgetown…

Georgetown is the better option (if you can manage to afford it) by a long shot.
