Northeastern University Transfer Fall 2019

Nothing here…

when they say regional they base it off of the college you attended, not where you live.

Yes I go to school and live in Boston

got mine at 1:16. in for CS and got scholarship!

Maybe its only the people who received scholarships today.

I go to school and live in Connecticut and nothing for me yet

I hope it’s not just scholarship recipients… I wouldn’t be able to attend without scholarships.

Did anyone get into CSSH?

Hopefully they release another wave next week because i literally can’t wait until June

I got accepted today and I did not get my financial aid package yet and my friend did not either. My friend got accepted through Spring transfer and she said all the decisions got released before the date they listed so I think they will start releasing every week now.

Ok good to know, thank you @prayformygrades. Has anyone checked after 8pm?

As for regional I belive they do it by certain counslers and some states are split in 2

As for those who have been acepted do you guys know where you want to live?

Northeastern I guess really puts emphasis on college grades as they should but hope this helps.

My resume is not impressive at all, they have the perfect program for me and I’m hoping my essay gets their attention and they take notice that they are one of the very few schools with the program I need

Does anyone know if there’s a transfer Facebook group? Or a groupme? Also how to find off-campus housing?

@zs2019transfer I dont belive they put that much emphasis on youre resume its hard to have alot of things on it when you are 18-19 but as long as you have good college grades and a reason to transfer you have a good shot.

@badblood As for a grouppage idk but on youre aceptence letter their is a link to off campus housing since their is no housing this year https://www.northeastern.edu/offcampus/

@TTTransfer10 Okay good to know. I’m 23 and my college GPA is 3.4. I’m hoping that they also take notice that I graduated high school with a 1.4 GPA, and take the progress that I have made academically into consideration.

So then if there’s no on campus housing for transfers, I’m not sure why in my financial aid award they list the cost of housing and a meal plan. I have so many questions for admissions and financial aid tomorrow morning.
