you should have sent it to your admission counselor
@jonskywalker They gave me the same amount, and my EFC is 0! I can’t even believe it
My admissions counselor never requested one from me at all
If my mid-term was submitted to the school directly, not the admission counselor, is it going to be a problem?
@polyscidreamer it is highly recommended that you submit the mid-term report and it is not required. Still, I highly suggest you submit it even if it’s this late because it is better than nothing
@OwlOfAthena no, I don’t think so! I think you are good, as long as you submitted it and if the grades are good, it will help increase your chance too!
@kbot9929 you already heard back?
@hopefull7890 no, I’m talking about my BU financial aid
is it too late to submit?
I never submitted a mid-term report but I’m hoping it won’t be a problem because my GPA has been pretty consistent and I have a decent amount of credits… I hope it doesn’t affect my admissions decision that much
@dogsrcool same for me, strong GPA for two years and good number of credits, I dont think it should be a problem tho.
They released freshman decisions today I think! So maybe Friday?!?!
If that was the case their thread would be blowing up today
The first wave should be this Friday.
What do you think my chances are: Entrepreneurship Major
16 credits last semester ending with a 4.0
midterm-report is a 4.0
rec letter from my employer and an alumni who taught me
ECS
ski and snowboard
CEO- entrepreneurs association
professional fraternity
investor at a large firm
habitat for humanity
model un
jobs
worked at a grocrey store
camp counselor
Also, I am from the south and have a low efc
@stillwaiting2019 I know two people who got accepted today
first year applicants have to make their deposit by May 1st so i think our first thread is going to be this Friday
@financeguy29 Hey, yes i got accepted to BU but it would be 25k per year out of pocket so I’m hoping i’ll get accepted to NU with more money. I am applying as a Data Science and biochem major and really like the program that NU has for it. If NU accepts me and gives me the same amount or better aid, then I will most likely attend NU.
According to last years thread people started hearing back on May 3rd which was a thursday, do you think there’s any chance they’ll release decisions today or do you think it’ll be tomorrow?
this thread is so dead compared to last years lol, the first wave of decisions should be coming out today, tomorrow, or within the next few days if they follow the same trend as last year
