northeastern vs college park

Those are pretty much my final choices.

I am instate for MD, and in a way, I kinda wanna get away and go somewhere else, though i wont base my decision completely on that.

I am completely undecided with my major; I really have no clue. Picking schools by major then won't be very helpful.

I dunno, both schools will provide me with a college experience. I want to meet all kinds of cool people, and UMD seems like a typical prep heaven, which i have dealt with throughout the last 12 years. Northeastern will have the same of course, but perhaps not as much as a huge public school would.

Northeaster's area is far better. I like the campus more too. I just can't decide if the quality of education/students/professors is better at UMD as most people seem to say, or NEU is simply kinda unknown and not getting fair treatment.

Thoughts?

U Maryland, IMO, is better academically than Northeastern.

How much more will Northeastern cost you?

money's about even, NEU gave me some pretty good aid.

If money is about even, go to Northeastern. They are about equal in prestige and it seems to be where you want to go.

OK. Well, if you want to get away and like the campus better, go to Northeastern.

Boston beats DC/College Park. And remember, if you want a milkshake with ice cream in it, order a "frappe".
