I have been accepted to the first two and am awaiting the reply for the third.

I'm leaning towards Northeastern because of their great co-op program, yet Syracuse appeals to me because I am most likely going to major in English or something to do with media.
I'm still undecided though, I think being a psychologist would be cool.

Anyway, to get to my point, which school is more worth its money?? The cost for the first two is about the same, at around 45,000+.

Opinions/Experiences please!!

Also, of the three, which are the more prestigious?

Do you have any public universities on your list? Neither of these is better than UMass or a SUNY school, and they aren’t small, either, so it’s not as if either of them have that as an advantage, either. U of Rochester is more prestigious than the other two, but more for engineering, etc. If you’re planning to be an English major, and you aren’t rich, I would seriously NOT go to either of these schools if I had a cheaper option.

Bump for the person sitting next to me who just listed all her hobbies on the presumption that people actually care.

Dear BerkeleyHopeful,

I will purposely choose the crappiest dorm Berkeley has to offer while you’re not looking.
That’s four years worth of revenge.

-R

PS - I am sure everybody on CC cares that I play tennis and like to read. ;P

All of those are fine places, and whether one is better than the other is pretty much a matter of personal opinion.

But to be perfectly honest, if you don’t have a clear choice of major yet, why are you looking to spend that kind of money? Can your family pay for this out of pocket, or will you have to take on a boatload of college loans? If you are truly undecided, and your family would have to stretch to send you to any of these places, start out somewhere else that is more affordable and transfer when you have a stronger academic goal.
