<p>This is an update on Northeastern's New master plan. The university president just announced in a speech that school will construct two new residence halls that will house another 1250 students. This on top of a new Honors residence hall that will break ground next month which will house about 500 students. The three new residence halls will add another 1750 dorm beds in the next couple of years. These aren't your typical no frills cinder block style dorm rooms; rather they are more like luxury apartments. Most rooms will have spectacular views of the Boston skyline. <p>The president also announced that the school will spend another $350 million on new facilities on top of the $500 million that the school already spent in the last three years.</p>
