<p>I'm from New York City and I'm very interested in Washington and Lee, but my one concern is that I won't fit in as a northerner.</p>
<p>If any of you are northerners, I'd love to know if you experienced any culture shock.</p>
<p>Anyone else attending the school- do the non-southerners seem to fit in as well? </p>

<p>are you kidding? everyone here is from NYC or Dirty Jerz or Maryland. Then there's the Southerners. And the Texans. There are a few from the West Coast, mostly California. What's really missing is the Midwest. I really wouldn't worry about.</p>
<p>^^ Agreed. I've been surprised at how many westerners there are, Ariz, Colo, Calif etc. A lot from New England too. </p>
<p>You'll fit in so long as you're not some kind of freak ;)
