I want to go into book publishing as my career, but I can't decide if I should apply to Northwestern's School of Communications and be a communication major, or if I should apply to the Medill School of journalism. However, I also want to minor or get a certificate in theater. What would be the better school for my plans? Are there any current students or alumni that could give me some pointers?
Thank you!

Northwestern has a very reputable journalism school.

However, from what I hear, can’t you change schools at Northwestern fairly easily? If that’s the case, make your decision once you get to campus.

I do have a few friends at Northwestern, but specifically those two schools, probably not.
